The performers of the Berkshire Hills Music Academy are available to make your event, assembly, conference or party a success. Our ensembles can perform anything from jazz and classical to popular music or children's favorites. We also offer our increasingly In the past four years, over 12,000 people from throughout the Northeast have enjoyed performances by Academy students and graduates. We have performed at Boston City Hall and for the Special Olympics and “Disability Pride Day,” at parades, festivals, conferences, galas, women's organizations, schools, senior centers, social service agencies, colleges and more. Elca M. Hometown: Smiths Parish, Bermuda Elca has just completed her second year at BHMA. Her favorite music class is songwriting and her favorite academic classes are art and music appreciation. She enjoys drawing, going to the movies and jogging. Elca is a classically trained opera singer with her own CD. At BHMA she has enjoyed expanding her musical repertoire to include jazz, improvisational and popular music and has begun to write her own songs. She recently recorded her new composition, “Unfair Love,” in the school's media laboratory. “After BHMA, I want to live on my own and earn money making music.”
