Music Therapy Summer Program
Ages 7 - 12 for parent and child

The summer Music Therapy Program offers a chance for children who enjoy making music to experience a wide variety of instruments and styles of music. Board-certified music therapists work with children in both group and individual settings focusing on:
- Encouraging musical growth
- Social skills and friendship
- Attentiveness
- Movement skills in a fun and motivating environment
- Networking with other families
This program will inspire children by providing the experience of achievement in music, both individually and with peers. (Our Philosophy)
All dorms are located on the second floor of our facility and one parent and their child will stay together in dorm rooms. Each dorm has a modern dormitory-style bathroom. Nutritious meals are served family style in the Academy’s dining room. Tuition includes one parent and child, and both parents are welcome to attend for an additional fee.
Eligibility
This program is intended for children ages 7-12, with learning and developmental disabilities who have a high interest in exploring music. In addition to having an interest in music, applicants must have basic self-care skills, display consistently positive social behavior and exhibit manageable group behavior skills.
Tuition
$620 plus a non-refundable application fee of $40.00
All applications must include a personal reference. (Personal reference)
