Not-to-be-missed Party Provides Critical Funds to Young Adults with Disabilities
September 8, 2016
Berkshire Hills Music Academy will hold its 3rd annual Fall Fundraiser on Saturday, September 17, 2016 on campus (48 Woodbridge Street, South Hadley, MA). We are so excited to welcome friends, family and community members back to BHMA to celebrate our successes and raise funds critical to the continued development of our program and our infrastructure. The event, themed “Studio 54,” kicks off at 5:00 p.m. with a champagne welcome followed by cocktails, dinner, silent auction, performances by BHMA musicians and dancing through the night with Brooklyn-based DJ Ari Rosenfield from Beat Train Productions. Top sponsors of the event include PeoplesBank and Susanna Peyton & John Campbell.
“2016 has been a monumental year for BHMA,” said Michelle Theroux, Executive Director. “We welcomed our largest first-year class ever, broke ground on the Bernon Music Center which will add 8,000 square feet to our thriving campus, and performed for over 13,000 community members. We have much to celebrate, but with growth comes the need for more resources,” Theroux added.
Proceeds from “Studio 54”, help bridge the gap between the program fees and the actual cost of the operations of the program. Since 2001, our unique music-infused learning environment, coupled with communication skills and vocational training, initiates many opportunities for our students—jobs, meaningful social relationships, and the development of comprehensive independent living skills that give them the confidence they need to excel.
Individual tickets are available for $100 and sponsorship packages begin at $500. To purchase tickets and support Berkshire Hills, call (413) 540-9720 or visit us here.
