LIVE Band Performance Manager
Brianna graduated from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2016 with dual degrees in classical music performance and communication disorders. She began as a residential assistant in 2016, and joined the residential advisor team later that year. In September 2017 Brianna joined the music department, where she now works managing the LIVE Band, teaching music lessons, and supporting students in managing their careers as solo and small-group musicians.
Brianna is a trained violist and can be found gigging as an orchestra and chamber musician throughout the Pioneer Valley and beyond. She also plays in a bluegrass quintet, the Pioneer Valley String Band, along with some other BHMA staff. She is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a Music Therapy specialization at Lesley University in Cambridge, MA, completion of which will earn her a licensure as a mental health counselor in Massachusetts, along with the credential of Music Therapist-Board Certified. In her spare time, Brianna enjoys being outdoors, listening to music, and playing tabletop games with friends.
