Josh Hines Sings the National Anthem at Best Buddies Challenge

We're excited to share that BHMA participant Josh Hines was selected to sing the National Anthem at the Best Buddies Challenge in Hyannis Port this past weekend on May 30! After submitting a video audition alongside performers from across the country, Josh was chosen for this special honor. This is an amazing achievement and a moment we were thrilled to celebrate.
The Best Buddies Challenge is a powerful, high-energy event that brings people together to support inclusion for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Participants can take part in a variety of ways, from cycling 20, 55, or even 100 miles along scenic Cape Cod routes, to joining a 5K run or walk at Craigville Beach. The day culminates in a fun finish line celebration, complete with food, music, and community spirit.
More than just an athletic event, the Challenge supports Best Buddies International, a global movement dedicated to building friendships, creating inclusive job opportunities, and empowering individuals through leadership and community. We are honored that Josh’s voice helped to kick off such an inspiring day!
