Karen Morison
Director of Life Skills
Karen Morison is the Director of Life Skills and has been with BHMA since 2013. She holds a bachelors degree in creative writing from Johnson State College and received an MA in English from Western New England University. Prior to her role at BHMA, Karen worked as a secondary school English teacher in Massachusetts.
Karen entered BHMA as an educator of life skills and designed the current cooking curriculum. She has since been with the vocation department, creating the Ascending Artist Program. Having an artistic and creative background with visual as well as literary arts, Karen works daily now with our individuals to expand their knowledge and skills as working artists.
