UPDATES FROM THE ADMISSIONS OFFICE
March 23, 2021

Dear Prospective Families,

The COVID-19 pandemic has been challenging for all of us, and it has made providing programming to our young adults difficult, but not impossible. We're currently offering in-person services to a small number of individuals, and remote services to the majority of our enrolled participants. We have been and will continue to follow guidance and mandates set forth by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, and the Department of Developmental Services. There are many limitations to what we can do at this time, and we're very grateful for your patience as we identify and explore possible solutions.

We will begin booking tours and visits when it is safe to do so, and we anticipate this will be soon. In the meantime, our admissions office will hold phone and video calls to field inquiries and discuss our program in greater detail.

Summer Program: Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, BHMA has made the difficult decision to cancel our Summer Program for the summer of 2021.
Residential candidates/applicants: We have a number of spaces reserved for these candidates and they will take priority over day-only applicants at this time. We have protocols in place to safely evaluate and transition these folks to campus. If enrolled, residential students will participate in a combination of online and in-person classes and activities.
Day-only candidates/applicants: Due to constraints beyond our control, we are unable to provide a timeline for when on-campus evaluations and enrollment may resume.
The health and well-being of our families and yours are of the utmost importance. We appreciate your patience and understanding during these difficult times. Please reach out with any questions you may have and take good care.

All the Best,
Jackie Deiana
